Home-Start UK Quality Assurance Assessment

Following a three year self assessment process and a two day document review in November, the Home-Start UK Q.A team spent two days with us in January undertaking in depth interviews with a large number of our Trustees, Staff, Volunteers, Families and Referrers. Sincere thanks to all those who gave their time to meet the assessors.
Their report told us that we met 93% of all standard despite having been through three very turbulent years of funding, therefore we should all feel very proud.
Trustees and Staff have already begun work on those areas that needed improvement.

Investing In Volunteers Award

On 18th January the Quality Assurance Panel of Volunteering England approved the re-accreditation of our I.I.V. This award recognises the quality of our volunteers and their work. Our volunteers told the assessor that "Home-Start is like a family" and "They (the co-ordinators) have always got time for you and you have their utmost respect"
We are honoured to receive this award and thank all those involved. We promise to continue supporting and making all our volunteers' time at Home-Start Leeds as rewarding and enjoyable as possible.
