Learning and Development

Volunteers are expected and encouraged to make use of on-going Learning and Development to continually enhance skills, knowledge and confidence, building on your learning from the Preparation Course.

Booking a place is easy, you can give the office a call, send us an email or ask your Coordinator.

All our learning sessions are provided free to our Volunteers, but they do come at a cost to Home-Start. Visiting trainers and our staff commit a considerable amount of time and effort preparing these sessions. If you are unable to attend, please let us know so we can offer your place to a volunteer on the waiting list.

We always welcome your views and ideas to keep our programme interesting, informative and relative to your volunteering.
