We are working in partnership with other organisations across Leeds and NHS partners to deliver Leeds Mental Wellbeing Service. Home-Start is delivering part of the specialist Perinatal support. Supporting families experiencing perinatal stress, depression, anxiety etc. during pregnancy/infants first 2 years.
The overall service is here to help the people of Leeds get the right support, at the right time and in the right place. The service provides support and psychological therapies for common mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression, which one in four of us will experience in our lives. Support is available for those aged 17 and over who are registered with a Leeds GP.
There is a range of self-help therapy resources, video treatment, face-to-face classes and talking therapies available. If you want some guidance on which therapy is for you, the online self-referral process makes it easier for you to provide the information for us to assess your needs.
