Home-Start leeds would like to say a big thank you to Wades Charity for their grant of £770.00
Home-Starts recognises the importance of play and outdoor physical activity for the mental and physical wellbeing, but that play is not always cost free – many of the families we support struggle financially, especially in the school holidays.
The grant will give families the chance to visit a range of venues that offer great outdoor activities and experiences – many of the families we support do not have holidays away from the city and a lack of finances stop them visiting the city’s great outdoor areas; and enable us to provide famlies with outdoor games to keep children and families healthly together.
